WEATHER CHANGES
Please check your e-mail or phone on the day of the hike for messages from us. Sometimes the weather gets in the way of a safe hike, and we need to re-schedule or cancel it on short notice. In such a case, we will notify you via text (SMS) and e-mail to the number and address you have provided us upon booking. The weather forecast changes quickly, so there is no point in checking several weeks in advance. Let us worry about that!

Did you know that there are quartz crystals in a hidden valley not too far from Stavanger? Embark on an adventure in a forest of crystals, swim in a natural pool, and even spend a night in the wilderness!
This is a private tour only. That means if you book this tour, nobody else can join. The experience is for you and you alone. We offer this as a special tour for single travelers or groups, especially returning visitors who have already seen and done the most popular locations and hikes. It is a unique experience that lets us show a different side of this region of Norway. Deep valleys, lush and wonderous forests, and even minerals you hunt for and can take home as a souvenier!
The day starts with being picked up by our guide from your preferred location near/in Stavanger. We drive for about 1 hour and 15 minutes before arriving at the parking area.
After approximately 2 hours of hiking, we will arrive at a camping spot we find suitable for our tents. After setting up camp, and eating lunch, the day is ours! We can enjoy the forest (maybe blueberries are in season!), swim in an enchanting natural pool, hike up to a breathtaking viewpoint, or hunt for crystals! The guide will be there to keep everyone safe.
The day ends with dinner at camp. The next morning we enjoy breakfast and pack up our things, so we are ready to head home. If there is still time to do things we didn’t get to do the first day, all the better! Eventually, we make our way back to the car, and head home. If the mood suits us, we can make a stop at Mån and do a quick waterfall hike, or stop by a local producer of cheese and meat.
Tired and rich with new experiences, we return to Stavanger in the early evening.

We have designed this to be a camping experience. However, it is possible to do the trip as a single day experience as well. Especially if you’re here in the summer, when the days are long.

During booking, you may specify your desired pick-up location, or write a custom location in the comment. The location must be within reasonable reach of Stavanger, or along the way to our location.

DROP-OFF
The tour ends within reasonable reach of Stavanger. The drop-off time will vary depending on the specific itinerary we agree upon. Unless requested otherwise, your guide will drop you off at the same location from which you were picked up.
