WEATHER CHANGES
Please check your e-mail or phone on the day of the hike for messages from us. Sometimes the weather gets in the way of a safe hike, and we need to re-schedule or cancel it on short notice. In such a case, we will notify you via text (SMS) and e-mail to the number and address you have provided us upon booking. The weather forecast changes quickly, so there is no point in checking several weeks in advance. Let us worry about that!

The western coast of Norway has more than fjords to offer! Take a hike through the peaceful mountain landscape to Reinaknuten, whatever time of year you want.
This is a private tour only. That means if you book this tour, nobody else can join. The experience is for you and you alone. Have you already visited Lysefjorden and its iconic formations? This is the perfect hike for you! Whether you’re traveling alone or in a group, we wish you welcome to the inland mountains of Husaheia! Hiking is free therapy, and this tour proves it.
The day starts with being picked up by our guide from your preferred location near/in Stavanger. We drive for about 1 hour before arriving at the parking area.
From the moment you leave the car, the serenity of the landscape will make you relax. We pass some private cabins that the locals own and use. The landscape turns into gently sloped hills and scenic wetlands. As we progress, the gentle hills give way to a dramatic valley, Langabergdalen. We hike along the edge of it, and make our way up higher. Along the way we can refill water from mountain lakes and streams. Before us, finally, is Reinaknuten.
After about 3 hours of hiking we reach the top, and enjoy a magnificent view of the mountainous region to the east. After lunch we head down and back to the car.

DROP-OFF
The tour ends within reasonable reach of Stavanger. The drop-off time will vary depending on the specific itinerary we agree upon. Unless requested otherwise, your guide will drop you off at the same location from which you were picked up.
